The first NEW 'DRUM SPIRIT' CD Medicine Journey is now available here
There will be two companion CDs for Jana's Drum Spirit drumming technique, including simple chants which illustrate the rhythms and energies of each of the first 10 directions of the wheel of life. Each track will last around 10 minutes, and can be used as background meditation music or for practicing your own drumming technique. You can also use them for drum healing. The Jana Runnalls music section reflects her love of ceremonial chanting and drumming, vocal improvisation and shamanic journeying. She has been recording her solo albums since 1985, which started with "Ancestral Dream" - and the improvised theme of this music threads its way through all her albums.
You can also enjoy the music of her band ~Wild Women~, which is a wild mixture of reggae rhythms, jazz scat, haunting and sensual lyrics as well as a fabulous, funky feel!
